About the Student Representative Assembly (SRA)

The Student Representative Assembly (SRA) serves as the legislative arm of the Student Union Government at Umaru Musa Yar'adua University. The SRA is responsible for representing all students and ensuring that their voices are heard in all institutional decisions that affect them.

The Assembly comprises presiding officers and duly elected representatives from each faculty and department. Together, they formulate policies, make critical decisions, and work collaboratively with the Executive arm to advance student welfare and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities

The SRA is responsible for legislative functions, policy formulation, student representation in institutional decisions, approval of budgets, and oversight of Executive functions to ensure accountability and transparency.
